At the end of this week, 18 of the team's 28 riders will be involved in races across six countries.

Since its inception back in 2003, Quick-Step Floors have been a force at the National Championships, scoring a total of 40 victories in both disciplines. Most recent of these came earlier this season, when Jack Bauer time trialed his way to a maiden New Zealand ITT title, delivering the team's first win of the year.

32-year-old Bauer is one of the two Quick-Step Floors riders to sport a national champion jersey at the moment, the other one being Bob Jungels, who in 2016 made the double at the Nationals, after stamping his authority on his home events.

The Luxembourger, winner in May of the Giro d'Italia coveted maglia bianca for the second consecutive year, will be one of the 18 Quick-Step Floors riders to take on the National Championships between Thursday and Sunday, which will see our guys battle for a good result from Chimay to Saint-Omer and from Chemnitz to Ivrea in what will be the final appointments before the start of the Tour de France, scheduled in ten days' time.
