A strong effort has put the duo into fifth place, after three days of intense racing.

Iljo Keisse and Mark Cavendish returned in t’ Kuipke on Thursday evening motivated to leave their mark on the many events scheduled on the third day of the event and reduce the gap to the overall leaders. Riding in the beautiful and classy jersey of the Maes 0.0% – The Wolfpack, Iljo and Mark rose up to the challenge and ended up taking five top 3 finishes, including two important victories, in the points race and the second Derny race.

These consistent results helped the experienced duo crack the 100-point barrier and gain a valuable lap in the Six Days of Gent general classification, drawing them level with five other teams, all of which are in the same lap halfway through the competition.

Friday promises even more spectacle and excitement to what has already been a thrilling edition, twelve races – including the Madison, Derny, and Super Sprint – being scheduled in Gent, where the Maes 0.0% – The Wolfpack team (fifth in the standings) will hope to be again among the main protagonists.
