Our team will use Hyperice’s innovative recovery products in 2021.

The California based company are recognised as the leaders in the development of products aimed at helping athletes to train, perform and recover better, day after day. Having used their Normatec system for some time now, Deceuninck – Quick-Step’s coaches and technology team were equally impressed by Hyperice’s personal devices, such as the Hypervolt massage gun and Vyper fitness roller.

Speaking of using the Hypervolt, Deceuninck – Quick-Step rider and winner of this year’s Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, Davide Ballerini said: “I have really enjoyed using my Hypervolt and I have no doubt that it has helped me with my successful start to the season. This time of year, it is very busy for all of us, with the classics and different races coming around quickly. In between races I need to be able to train correctly to keep my condition, but it is not always possible to get a massage. Using Hyperice’s products, like the Hypervolt or the Normatec system, has helped me recover better and train properly.”

Hyperice will also work closely with Deceuninck – Quick-Step’s coaches and technology team to educate cyclists on the latest innovations in training, wellness and recovery technologies used by the world’s elite performers.

This was echoed by Shawn Beitelspacher, VP of Endurance at Hyperice: “We are huge fans of the Deceuninck – Quick-Step Cycling Team and the entire Hyperice team is honoured to build on our existing work with them and make this partnership official. Having access to Hyperice’s full suite of technology will be a huge asset to the team and we look forward to helping them take their athlete recovery to the next level as they head into a stacked racing season.”
