Our team was again in the spotlight at the Corsa Rosa.

Stage 17 was one of mixed feelings for Deceuninck – Quick-Step: while João Almeida enjoyed a spectacular surge up the rankings and is now eighth overall after dropping all the other GC contenders on Sega di Ala, Grand Tour rookie Remco Evenepoel was forced to call it a race after being involved in a crash that took down several riders on the last descent.
