Leading Belgium-based personal protective equipment brand joins forces with the team.

Deceuninck – Quick-Step have teamed up with Safety Jogger. For the next three years (2022, 2023 and 2024), the personal protective equipment brand’s logo will be one of the official shirt sponsors (non-Title or Co-Title sponsors).

Like Deceuninck – Quick-Step, Safety Jogger has its roots in the Flemish region of Belgium before evolving to a worldwide recognised brand. Today, Safety Jogger is known for the design, manufacturing and retail of specialised personal protective equipment, with a particular focus on safety footwear. Their award-winning products, which are distributed to over 120 countries worldwide, are designed to perform in every environment, a quality that resonates with our team. More specifically, their safety footwear supports a diverse range of industries - from construction to medical down to catering, making them perfect to supply the shoes for our team staff and riders, which they will do during their time with the team.

The similarities do not end there, with both our team and Safety Jogger wanting to constantly innovate and evolve to lead our respective fields. Moreover, Safety Jogger also shares our passion for taking care of the environment and changing our habits and processes into more sustainable ones. Wherever possible, Safety Jogger strives to use recycled and renewable materials for their products, a culture that fits perfectly with our #ItStartsWithUs campaign.

Speaking of the partnership, Deceuninck – Quick-Step CEO Patrick Lefevere said: “We are very happy to welcome Safety Jogger to the Deceuninck – Quick-Step family. They hail from not far from our Flanders’ base, growing into an internationally recognised brand. We recognise their passion for making qualitative and innovative products that will perform in every environment, which are qualities that we also strive for at Deceuninck – Quick-Step. We are looking forward to a successful partnership with them.”

Safety Jogger’s Managing Director Tom Gybels added: “We are very happy to start the Deceuninck – Quick-Step partnership. As winners in the global safety footwear market, we immediately felt a strong fit with the most successful team in the world. Founded and based in Oudenaarde, we have a strong connection with cycling. And since we are present in over 120 countries, the globalizing cycling sport is a perfect match to enhance our brand recognition. We are convinced that this partnership will enable our further global expansion.”
